My name is John Dacey and I have set up an independent consultancy service with expertise in a wide range of areas including transportation and development, strategy and management. I have more than fifty years of experience working predominantly in the public sector, including roles at the highest levels. Prior to retiring from Local Government in 2005, I was working as Director of Highways and Transportation and latterly Corporate Director at Wales premier authority, namely Cardiff County Council. I am a First Class Honours Graduate with a Masters Degree in Highways and Transportation and also a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering, a Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
